Pom Pom Squad, a project fronted by Mia Berrin, is a musical diary entry influenced by the sounds of garage rock and RIOT GRRRL. Originally based out of Orlando, Florida, Mia began recording demos in her teenage bedroom before moving to New York City, where she met bandmates Alex Carr (lead guitar), Zoltan Sindhu (bass), and Greg Tock (drums). The band brings a flirtatious energy to their performance, reminiscent of high school days (but only the good ones). Known for pairing frilly dresses, with gem framed eyes that can hypnotize you into alt-rock heaven, we asked Mia to bring her sense of style to our favorite past time, a scrapbook, and retell the origins of Pom Pom Squad.
