Behind the Scenes of Sedona’s Saucy & Seductive "More Love"

The year is 1984. "More Love" is the party pop anthem of the year for those who enjoy thick grooves, seductive melodies, and a whole lotta synth. This track celebrates love in all its pain and all its glory. It embodies the thrill of the chase, the hypnotic wonders of a whirlwind romance, and the never ending battle between love and lust. All in all, Madonna would be proud. The music video for "More Love" stemmed from Sedona's love for all things unhinged. What better way to celebrate more love, than with a video that pays homage to 80s porn? ;)

Up close and personal with the heart shaped tub. Iconic from head to toe.

Introducing the first look of the shoot: the naughty nurse. We transformed this tiny motel room into a kinky lil doctor’s office. Wine was involved.

Closing shot of the first shoot day: rub a dub dub in the heart shaped tub. In the last shot of the music video, you see me emerging from the tub. To achieve this moment, I had to walk backwards into the tub so when we put the footage in reverse, it looked like I was walking out of the water seamlessly.

Playtime with the director Ámalía Irons. I prefer making videos with my closest friends because they bring out the kookiest, most authetic parts of me. Exhibit A.

It’s always a good idea to get the whole crew in front of the camera. Especially when you’re as gorgina as my Ámalía.

My creative director/production designer Wesley Goodrich found the loveliest floral heart for the aerobics scene. There she is in all her beauty.

Stylist Peyton Zouck just had to bedazzle the sneakers, and thank heavens she did!!!

Decided to pick up the floral heart and stick my head in it like a picture frame. This was during the last scene of the weekend, where I was dressed as the greasy mechanic.

Out of all the characters I played during the shoot that weekend, I resonated most with the librarian. Not sure why, but the green-polka-dotted jumpsuit definitely had something to do with it. Fun fact: I’m legally blind without my glasses. But I usually wear contacts.

Makeup and hair done by the one and only Laura Dudley. She also did everyone’s looks for the “Same Sky” music video. She is one of the most dedicated and creative people I know. Can’t trust anyone but her when it comes to executing so many funky-fierce looks. #aleroglowforever

Borrowed my dad’s toolbox for this one. Thanks for the wrench, Dad!

Loved pretending to clean the already spotless convertible that my friend Ramon let us borrow. I met him outside of a Connan Mockasin show a week before the shoot. I walked past the whip while he parked, and as soon as I saw his car, I knew it was the perfect match for the mechanic scene.

The aerobics instructor: I got a four hour workout in. Months later and I’m still sore from it...

This aerobics bike was Wesley’s grandma’s. It was pretty rusty, so pedaling on this baby was about ten times harder than it looked!

I was working up quite a sweat in the garage where we shot the aerobics scenes, so Wes came to the rescue with a hair dryer that blew what felt like cold air onto my sweaty bod. And that’s a wrap ;)

Keep up with Sedona.
